1.UV Spectrophotometric Method:

Take an appropriate amount of the sample and accurately weigh it. Dilute with a suitable solvent to obtain a solution containing 20μg of the sample per 1ml (Note: Ensure the sample is fully dissolved during the content determination). Use a solvent solution as a blank control. Measure the maximum absorbance and calculate the content, which should not be less than 40.0%.

2.Titration Method:

Take approximately 1.0g of the sample and accurately weigh it. Add 25ml of neutral diluted ethanol (indicated by phenolphthalein showing neutrality). Ultrasonicate for 30 minutes, add 3 drops of phenolphthalein indicator, and titrate with sodium hydroxide solution (0.1mol/L). Each 1ml of sodium hydroxide solution (0.1mol/L) is equivalent to 2.762mg of salicylic acid. The content of salicylic acid should not be less than 40.0%.
